I am currently studying in Earlham College in the United States and will be flying back to continue my studies in August. Before going to the United States, I was studying in Marymount Secondary School in Hong Kong. English and English Literature were my favourite subjects and they were also my strong suits. I finished studying F5 in that school and transferred to United World College in the United States to study two years of International Baccalaureate. And I continued to pursue tertiary education in the United States in a school called Earlham College.

Im a year one medical student studying in CUHK. I graduated from Diocesan Girls School after taking the DSEs in 2017, and received an offer to study Law at Oxford University in the UK but decided to study medicine in the end. I received a 5** in DSE English, a 5* in DSE Literature in English and 8.5 in IELTs. I am looking for students from upper primary to F6 for English, as well as secondary school students for the other DSE core subjects. I can also help with college application essays, interviews and personal statements. Thanks!
My name is Natalie, and as a recent graduate of King George V School, I will be studying Medicine/Dentistry in Australia. Now the assumption that most make when they hear I’m doing Medicine is that I’m intimidating and intelligent, but believe it or not, I love kids!
From organizing English play stations at Tsung Tsin Kindergarten and Farm Road Primary School, to private tutoring offered to students from Primary to Secondary level, as well as currently teaching (part-time) HKDSE English at Ching Kok Secondary School, I base my work on helping students develop a right mindset, work ethic, and setting the foundations needed to excel in their studies.
Freshly out of high school and the hectic years of IGCSE and IB, I am all too familiar with the difficulty of juggling various responsibilities, extra-curricular and other commitments that are important to me. During my senior years, I was privileged to be the Head Girl of King George V School, member of the School Council, External Communications and Relations Committee as well as Vice-chairperson of KGV UNICEF, in addition to being part of the Cheerleading, Hockey and Volleyball Team – I believe it is my love for all-rounded education that has shaped me into the efficient and organized tutor I am today.
Having obtained 9A* and 1A for IGCSE’s, and an IB predicted of 44/45, I am happy to offer any help for the following subjects:
Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics, English, Mandarin, Geography and Food Technology.
From helping you fulfill study objectives, to providing notes/resources (if applicable), my aim is to grill you until concepts are cemented in your memory and your understanding of the content has surpassed that of your classroom peers. What\'s more, I have always endeavored to be a tutor who encourages you to share, ask questions and even challenge ideas.
I would also love to help teach/play with younger children (having volunteered in the Pediatric Ward at Baptist Hospital and worked with students studying in Kindergarten and Primary School), and to make my teaching methods relatable so that it is equal work and equal entertaining.
Finally, receiving the HK Princeton Book Award 2015 (excellence in Leadership, extra-curricular and academic pursuits), as well as becoming a member of the Hong Kong Academy for Gifted Education, my goal is to not only teach you the academics, but also the lessons I learnt while I was going through school, because these are the most important things you’ll hold onto your future.
I look forward to hearing from you soon! (Prices are negotiable depending on location and level of teaching)
I am Ethel. I have gone abroad to UK for my sixth form which have broaden my horizon for my style of learning and my English speaking. So I hope when I teach, I truly want students to fully understand the concept and raise their when dealing difficulties with their problems or concern to be raised. I have a lot of extra curricular activities and interests such as dancing, drama and so on which would probably be easier to interact with them either using English or Chinese, and they will be able to learn more effectively besides books when they lose concentration during lessons.
I would try my very best in teaching the best that I could and hopefully you will give my chance in teaching you! Thank you.
I was given an offer by the University of Southern California (USC) to study Communcation and Jorurnalism at Annenberg School.
I am confident that my skills in conflict resolution , creativity and resilient character, as well as my self-learnt knowledge would indeed be an ideal match for this tutoring position.
The life journey on the road less travelled has taught me great lessons on humility, gratefulness, and compassion. I have this strong desire go beyond being technically competent. It is my ambition to utilize the unique edge granted by my communication background to take part in building relationships that integrate wealth management and mediation techniques with technology.

Hi there, my name is Jason.
As a former student who had the experience of jumping from one tutor to another just to find little improvement in grades, I once had no fulfilment in education, and absolutely no idea what I wanted to do in life.
Throughout boarding school and university in the US, I was fortunate enough to have met some inspiring mentors who gave me the tools to set appropriate learning goals and take charge of my own learning.
Ever since, I have found it my mission to empower others to take control of their own education. In my working experience, I have helped more than 100 students in the primary and secondary levels to achieve their personal educational goals. Amongst these were students of different ethnicities, backgrounds, interests, talents and personalities. On a daily basis, I answered the educational questions and concerns of loving parents.
If you would like to know more about how I can help you, please feel free to contact me!
