曾就讀聖保羅男女中學，畢業於啟新書院，在瑞典留學一年，可謂體驗過本地傳統學校、國際學校、與外國的教育。語文對個人成長、學習和工作都有很深遠的影響。我希望透過有趣的方式，令其他人享受學習語言的過程。 我曾十分討厭英語，但其後發現，學習語言不是要對著書本背生字、不需要有特定的口音。語言可以溝通，可以帶我們到外面的世界，得到新的想法。那當然，怎樣也要應用在學科上面。只是抱著這樣的心態，學習變得有趣，生字、文法，更容易掌握，事半功倍。

Graduated from The Faculty of Applied Science at the University of British Columbia (Vancouver Campus) in the Bachelor of Applied Science degree in Electrical Engineering and Biomedical Option. I graduated as an IB student from the UK in 2021. I can speak fluent British English as I grew up in Bath, UK. I can also speak fluent Cantonese, Mandarin and a bit of Spanish. Hi, my name is Davis! I am a native english speaker and went to international school for both primary and secondary school so I am familiar with the syllabus/curriculum (e.g GCSE/IB). Additionally, I can also speak Cantonese and mandarin fluently! Before starting at HKU, I spent a year studying in the US at Ohio University where I majored in Aviation, so if there are any students out there interested in aviation I can teach some introductory topics too! I will be happy to tutor english for all levels, as well as GCSE English/Science/History and IB History too. Dear Sir / Madam, Even though I am a master’s student at The University of Manchester (UK), majoring in Nuclear Science and Technology, I wasn't good at studying from the very beginning. During my junior high school, I was a probational student achieving the worst grades possible. Until one day, a peer of mine gave me a speech and some skills which changed my whole attitude towards studying. From that point onwards, I was getting academic scholarships almost every single year. Having the skills to study is important but I would rather emphasize having the correct mindset (As most of the kids these days don't really know what they are studying for) One of my previous students managed to grind his way up from an average score of E to a B, after half a year of tutoring. I am a passionate tutor and mentor who graduated from the University of Cambridge (Bachelors in Social Anthropology) and previously attended the renowned Cheltenham Ladies College, where I achieved 44 points for my International Baccalaureate (global top 1%). I have experience in teaching both English Literature and Language, and am also able to tutor other humanities subjects if needed.
